Does anyone know of any way to get grants or loans for a small business?
I am trying to find loans or grants for help improving my small business. All I am finding is software to buy or sites telling me there are no grants. Does anyone have anything or know anything that would help?

Depends on where you are located and what the company starting is. I am from canada and here it is EXTREMELY hard to get ANY grants or loans for companies. I would sudgest contacting your government office. They will be able to provide a list of programs and grants available and sometimes they will give you better rates for loans. Right now the banks are very skeptical about handing out loans and businesses right now are closing out right left and center.
We were unsuccessful in getting any grants for our company when we started and had to resort to finding a angel investor which really really helped us.
From all the research we did, the US government is however giving out money left right and center depending on where you look. Make sure you have a SOLID business plan and several thousand put away as instant money in a new business does not happen right away.
