Don’t worry about going at the financing stuff alone, first of all, you can handle it. For some good advice, the best I can give is to tell you to check out lots of different options. Different lenders = different offers… and you should always pick the loan that’s best for your situation.
If you want a way to review different offers in one place, you should check out the site that I represent, http://www.TuitionBids.com . You apply once and get up to six offers from different lenders.
Also, since you are doing this alone there are some other things on the site that may help you get some more information. The Gap Calculator http://www.tuitionbids.com/student-loan-tools-and-advice/college-information-gap-analysis-search.aspx lets you pick out your college and then figure out how much you need based on tuition and books and the other stuff you need to get through student life.(As a student, I totally know this can add up and it helps to have an understanding of what the cost of the extra stuff may be before you look for a loan) . Another resources: the Student Loan Glossary http://www.tuitionbids.com/student-loan-tools-and-advice/student-loan-glossary.aspx . Hopefully, it’ll help you navigate through some of the phrases and words used a lot in the whole loan process.
Many well wishes for you and good luck in college!

try getting a loan from a bank. I got on from chase for a great amount of money. And if you have good credit you wont need a cosigner!
